Bishop Roger Clark, Pastor

Bishop Roger Clark, Pastor and Founder of Kingdom Family Church, Inc, a Georgia native and former Lake County, Florida resident, is a Viet Nam military veteran and retired Florida State Trooper.  He is a respected civic leader and is presently a Chaplain for the Florida Highway Patrol.  He is a Facilitator with Jacksonville Theological Seminary and is Founder and Director of Training for Reigning Leadership School.  He sits on the board of various organizations.

 This anointed and mighty man of God has certainly received the heavy mantle of Priestly anointing within his life. Several years ago the Lord healed Bishop Clark of the devastating disease—cancer. Although physically attacked by the enemy who sought to steal and destroy his life, the Holy Spirit encouraged his heart through the word of God with the scripture “You shall not die, but live and declare the glory of God.” Many have been saved, delivered and encouraged through the anointed and soul winning ministry which God has deposited within him.

Bishop Clark’s spiritual resume’ is a testament to his call. He is a dynamic teacher, preacher and counselor.  He is well versed in all aspects of Church leadership.  He has served as a Deacon, a Minister, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Certified Police Chaplain, and Senior Pastor.  He has a “heart for the people of God”. Those who surround him know of his kind and humble spirit which emulates a life of holiness unto the Lord. 

Bishop Clark has earned several degrees in his quest for higher education and spiritual excellence. He has received both a BS and a MA degree in Theology from the Life Christian University in Tampa and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Christian Education and a Doctorate of Ministry from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Orlando College.  He has received numerous certificates from various organizations.

 He is the husband of Dr. Linnie Simmons Clark and the father of two daughters, Chandra Clark-Marshall (Bradley) and Leslie Clark. The Proud grandfather of Xavier and Layla Grace.

Bishop Clark’s heart has been sculpted and molded for God’s people and for God’s service.  He is God’s willing and chosen vessel.  He has embraced his kingdom assignment of empowering families to impact their communities through Christ.

Dr Linnie Clark, Co Pastor

Dr. Linnie Clark (affectionately known as “Dr. Linnie”) is  Kingdom Family’s Co-Pastor.  She was born and raised in Eustis, Florida.   She became  passionate in her walk with the Lord after  accepting  Christ as her  personal Savior at the very tender age of nine years.  After completing high school, Dr. Clark matriculated into college and received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College.  She retired from her position with the Federal Government as a Social Security Administrator following 26 years of service.  Dr. Clark’s spouse (and her life-long love), Bishop Roger Clark is the Senior Pastor of Kingdom Family Church, Inc.  They are a dynamic team as they bring forth the oracles of God to the congregation and speak spiritual life and breath into God’s people.

Dr. Clark received her Master’s degree in counseling from the University of Central Florida and her Ph.D. from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.  She was ordained into the ministry in March of 2006.  She is presently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Pastoral Counselor.  Dr. Clark serves as a Bible instructor at Kingdom Family Church where she also leads the Kingdom Daughters (a ministry that enhances and builds the positive self esteem of women and provides spiritual and moral nourishment to them as they grow and mature into their spiritual destinies.) 

In addition to the many diverse and unique hats which Dr. Clark wears, she has taught Bible classes for the Jacksonville Theological Seminary.  She has also volunteered as a life skill instructor at the County’s Work Release Center.  She has facilitated  empowerment groups at one of the city’s temporary housing shelters for women, as well as at a Senior Citizen housing complex.  As one can readily see, she is busy in the business of kingdom building.

Dr. Clark is a proud mother and grandmother.  She has two daughters Leslie of Tampa, FL and Chandra and her spouse Brad of Atlanta, Ga. and their children Xavier and Layla Grace.  It is the mission and passion of Dr. Clark’s life and walk with the Lord to help the people of God  identify their God given gifts and endowments and to help them become all that God would have them to be.  This woman of God truly wears the mantle of God’s handmaiden as she goes about the business of preparing God’s people for Christian excellence.


Dr Brenda Sermon, Assistant Pastor

Dr Brenda Sermon is the daughter of the late Moses and Josephine Higgins. She is a
native of West Palm Beach, Florida and is the sixth child of seven children. She is
married to Minister Willie Sermon and is the mother of one son, Darius, and 2 bonus
daughters, Keya and Alisea. She is a very proud grandmother and great grandmother.

As God’s called and ordained handmaiden, Dr Sermon strives to fulfill God’s plan for
her life. She accepted the Lord as her personal savior under the pastoral leadership of
Dr. Christine S. Long. While serving faithfully at her former church Pastor Sermon was
ordained as an Evangelist. She also served faithfully as the Youth Director, Couples’
Ministry Assistant Director and as a Liturgical dancer in the Dance Ministry.

Dr Sermon’s passion is the equipping of men, women and young people to be victorious in their work for the Lord. She desires that they have a hunger and thirst to know God and obtain a deeper understanding of His word.
Dr Sermon matriculated and graduated from Warner Southern College with a BS Degree in Organizational Management, the International Seminary of Plymouth, Florida and The Way of Life School of Ministry. Dr Sermon earned her master degree and her doctorate degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

Dr Sermon has faithfully served as the Youth Pastor of Kingdom Family Church under
the pastoral leadership of Drs. Roger and Linnie Clark. In 2014, she was ordained as
the Associate Pastor of Kingdom Family Church and more recently received elevation,
where she is serving as the Assistant Pastor.
